The kindergarteners had an extra art class this week because most of the school is away on the snow trip, or in Costa Rica. In this lesson they were guided in drawing a pig. The children worked in marker, so they couldn’t erase. They carefully used different types of lines to create the animal. When finished, they drew it in a setting of their choice and colored it with crayons. They turned out so cute and funny!
Good luck! How did it go?

great idea, my class may be drawing pigs next week if you don’t mind the steal! Plus love the use of an unerasable medium. I wish for nothing more than the child who is constantly erasing in their pursuit of perfection to accept their lines and believe in them!
